If happiness is something you have to fight for,

because you can be happy on your own,

Had a good long talk with Daph a few nights earlier,
I'm just glad that she was there at that point of time,
because I think hardly anyone else would have understood,
for she went through the same once too.
It's nice when someone stretches out a hand to save you.
Anyway I had my first Bahasa Indon lesson yesterday.

Gotta admit that I was rather upset that I hadn't got the mod of my choice and out of desperation had to pick this mod instead,
I think I'm kinda enjoying it now.
Learning a new language isn't easy at all,
especially it's one which I haven't got a major interest in,
but still,I think it'll be useful to me in my career in nursing.
So,
I guess I'll accept and work hard for it.
Hopefully it's a cap puller haha XDD

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!
Had been a little more busy lately,
especially during the previous week,
where I was caught up with gatherings,
cleaning,
and new year shopping.
Cannot deny that it was all fun but then,
my body has its physical limits too.
And so I'm taking a break today,
although the initial plan was to play mahjong at Jinwen's place >.<
As he has something on I guess we'll be playing some other time instead ;)
But,
that is no reason to miss a mahjong session XDD
Mei's organizing a CNY gathering at her place next Monday.
So we'll have mahjong and steamboat together heehee!
Can't wait :DD
So,
what have you people been doing these days?
As mentioned I've been preoccupied by gatherings,
one of them being Jiayan's 21st birthday party @Hard Rock Hotel in Sentosa.
I've never really explored that part of Sentosa and when I did,
it was an awesome experience :DD
Personally,
it's like going on vacation.
And the hotels were pretty good too!
I would really love for a short holiday there :DD
As the photos taken that day haven't been uploaded yet,
there will be none to show today :(
But all in all I had a great time just spending time with the ladies over the beautiful scenery XDD
And then there was spring cleaning.
It wasn't exactly the extravagant type of clean-up but still it took much hard work and no doubt,
sweat.
Daddy was really diligent this year for he even packed the store.
I know you won't be able to understand the amount of change that occurred in this small space but just imagine that before this,
the store looked as if a tornado just went by it.
Daddy changed the sofa sheets as well.

because it's CNY and even the toys need to get new clothes,
but in this case,
it's washed clothes.

And on Sunday my parents and I went to JP after service.
Daddy was in a good mood and mum received so many gifts from him that day >.<
I find this photo so cute haha
Daddy stood down to help mummy see if the shoes fit.
It must have been quite sweet until I said daddy looks like a salesman instead of prince charming >.<
But daddy's cute anyways :DD
Ever since that talk we had while he was still at Genting,
I feel that our relationship's improving,
not that it hadn't been good before,
but now we are on better terms and I have since learnt to look at things from his perspective sometimes,
which is a good thing(:
Lastly,
would like to share a very good song titled "Love Remains The Same" by Gavin Rossdale.
It's a song I heard today,
and it's good.
Been some time since I listened to music of such genre and am still in love with it.
Should really rummage through my mum's old collection of old English songs one day.
Drink to all that we have lost,
mistakes we have made
Everything will change,
but love remains the same
Songs are an eternal inspiration a lifetime is never enough to chase.
School starts tomorrow and I'm dreading it.
Hate going back to work when I don't feel like I'm in top-notch condition.
Oh well time waits for none.

Alrighty it's gonna be a real short post cause I'm kinda rushing for time haha XDD
Just completed my second round of balloting and I hope like the first round's results,
I'll be able to get all the slots I want teehee :DD
Anyways,
was doing some clearing of my somewhat 200+ unopened emails and went through some of the past emails I sent and also some of which I received.
Just wanna say that I miss the time when you really did care.
I guess that's all for now,
haven't got much time left before I head to school >.<

Guess this is probably the last day whereby I can blog so freely,
all because.. school is reopening come next week :/
*sulks*
Even though I must admit that there ought to be a balance between work and play,
but I think my heart agrees that it is not very balanced right now.
Arghh but no matter what,
I know I cannot be playing all the way.
It's about time my heart settle down and prepare itself for school again,
speaking of which,
my bidding's tomorrow,
and I'm kinda worried,
for the course I really really wanna take is rather popular,
and I think I'll be quite upset if I don't get it :(
All the best to us then.
Being a noob in this bidding shit,
I'm going over to Mei's place tomorrow morning to do the bidding together >.<
Followed by a mahjong session while monitoring the bids.
Machiam watching stocks like that >.<
Anyways,
time passes really quickly and we're already 5 days past new year.
I think I haven't been doing much this week.
Went to Qian-er's 21st birthday party on Monday.
It was a rather brief gathering I would say,
but it's nice to be seeing old friends,
especially Shuyee^^,
whom I haven't met for so long already.
Can't really remember what I did on Tuesday.
Ohh ohh yes,
I was locked out of my house on Monday night and because my family had all their phones switched off,
I couldn't contact anyone and since there's also no doorbells installed at my house,
in the end I had to sleep over at Mei's place >.<
What luck T.T
Felt so bad having to intrude >.<
We chatted all the way till 3plus in the morn before sleeping till 10am.
Auntie was very kind to have brought us breakfast before going to work and so I settled my brunch at Mei's place before going to my mum's workplace to get the keys cause no one's at home since school has reopened for the 2.
Got home and took a long good shower with the aircon on as the weather was frigging warm yesterday.
Had a long afternoon nap afterwards and woke up only to nua all the way again.
Now you know why I don't keep these things in mind...
Too unproductive >.<
And yesterday was almost equally spent- in utter nothingness.
Watched movies while slacking on my bed the entire day.
Come to think of it I really shouldn't be too free sometimes >.<
Makes me feel as if I'm wasting my life away >.<
As for today,
today I woke up extra extra early to go for my appointment at the hair salon.
Spent a couple of hours there and came home to lunch alone :\
Watched abit of TV and it's already 4.30.
See,
time flies even when you're not doing anything.
Watched snippets of Mayday's concert earlier and out of a sudden,
I wondered what I would be doing on the so called doomsday that is coming on the 21st of Dec this year (pardon me if I got the date wrong).
I wondered who I would be spending it with,
and what I would probably be doing...
Would the world be making special arrangements or prior preparations for the day to come?
Or would they just be going on with their usual routine and lives?
But then again,
I don't believe in that.
Because if it's something that we humans can predict,
then God's plan wouldn't be so splendid.
So I guess I shouldn't be thinking about these.
Anyways there're so many movies that I wanna catch!
There's the Jay Chou-Nicholas Tse movie coming up,
and also Jack Neo's latest movie- I Not Naughty (I think),
and I haven't even caught Na Xie Nian yet :/
I really wanna watch that!
But I think it's no longer airing in cinemas :\
I really gotta be doing some saving,
seriously.
The year to come is not a financially stable one for me,
and this,
I can predict.
Shall be going off now,
even though I have no idea what to do next but I'll come up with something,
I should at least stop staring at a screen for a while.
The week's ending soon.
Hope it goes well.
Will be ending it with Meixi's birthday party on Saturday and a gathering on Sunday.
Also considering if I should go for Ivan's POP on Sat morning too...
It's way too early- like 6 plus A.M early,
and...
should I even be going in the first place...?
I'm not his anybody...
and he ain't mine too...

Arrived a gemini with a great deal of divided personalities.
For one thing, I can laugh at one moment and be upset the next.
But Im not the hardest person to get along with, certainly.
I came to be me on 10th June 1991.
Spent the last nighteen years of my life in attempts to piece myself together, and is still desperately trying.
Family and friends are my life.
At least that's the way it is till a boyfriend comes along XD
Anyway, icecream's my addiction, my medicine, my must-have.
Now you know how to make me happy.
I dont need expensive gifts I just want a true heart.
I'm majorly affected by the people around me.
Can't say if it's a blessing or a curse, 'cause the little things people do can either make my day or simply make it worse.
Just give me a smile, and I'll return one to you^^
